Helping Parents is a program offered through Parent to Parent, a nationwide network dedicated to supporting families of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). In life, we often face challenges when caring for a loved one with an IDD. The Helping Parents program connects parents and caregivers with trained mentors who have experienced similar situations. Through this mentor/mentee relationship, parents can ask questions, seek guidance, and learn practical tips and strategies from others who truly understand the journey.
