January Group Community Engagement

We're excited to announce our new Community Engagement activities at The Arc of Spokane! The Community Engagement program is your connection to activities featuring social interactions, skill developments, and community exploration. We are providing this service for those who have a Community Engagement waiver and offering a private pay option for those who don’t. If you do not have a Community Engagement waiver, we are able to help you navigate the steps to attain one. For questions or assistance please call the Community Center at 509-789-8791.

Monday, January 5

Video Game Night
Join in a video game night on our Switch and Switch 2! Show off your skills or play for your first time.
Meet at The Community Center by 3:00 PM
Pick-up at 5:00 PM

Tuesday, January 6

Baking Night
Come bake with us! If you want to learn how to bake or you already know, and want to show off your skills, you're welcome to join us.
Meet at The Community Center by 3:00 PM
Pick-up at 5:00 PM

Thursday, January 8

Food Bank (South Side Food Pantry)
Arrive by 8:15 AM
Ride back to The Community Center at 10:00 AM
Or schedule pick-up between 9:45–10:00 AM

Monday, January 12

Polka Dot Pottery
We will take the van and head to Polka Dot Pottery to paint an item of your choice.
We suggest bringing $30 or more depending on what you want to create!

Meet at The Community Center by 3:00 PM

Tuesday, January 13

Sage's Portal and Board Games
Pokemon & other board games! We recommend bringing $10 for snacks and drinks there.

Arrive by 8:15 AM
Ride back to The Community Center at 10:00 AM

Polka Dot Pottery Pick-Up and Pizza
We will take the van together to pick up your finished pottery and come back to have pizza.
Meet at The Community Center at 3:00 PM

Community Center Dance
You can purchase tickets for the Community Center Dance on our website under the events tab
Be at the Community Center 4:00 PM

Dave and Busters
We will take our van together to go to Dave and Busters and play arcade games! We recommend bringing $30 to purchase a game card.

Art Class
Show off your artistic talent! Staff will lead the class in a follow-along art class.
