Navigating school systems can be challenging—especially when supporting a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Understanding how Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans work isn’t always easy, and families often face barriers to accessing the support their child needs.

That’s why The Arc of Spokane is offering a free informational session designed to help families build knowledge and confidence. This session will provide practical tools and guidance to support your child’s educational journey.

By the end of this one-hour session, you’ll be able to:

• Understand the differences between IEPs and 504 Plans
• Navigate school systems with more confidence
• Advocate effectively for your child’s educational needs
